She has driven innovation in production and helped shift thinking from traditional models for content creation to sleek, efficient, and customized teams to get the job done. Cynthia loves to use her creative problem-solving skills to do the seemingly impossible.
Kevin began his 25+ year production career in film and TV, working his way up the ladder from PA to Producer. In the mid 2000’s he applied his long-format skills to the advertising world, spending five years at TAXI as a pioneer in the burgeoning world of content production.
Since 2012, Kevin has used his vast network of filmmakers, creatives and technologists to deliver award winning, high quality integrated content for agencies and brands. Engaged and ‘hands on’, Kevin thrives on solving complex creative and production challenges.
Tim wears a couple of different hats, facilitating brand strategy,integration and driving business development.
Tim has the unique benefit of working within industry-leading advertising agencies and on the client side, both domestically and internationally. Tim’s strong leadership skills and strategic brand marketing acumen have resulted in a multitude of successful business-building case studies and award-winning initiatives that have transcended every facet of brand communications including traditional advertising, digital, social and, of course, content.
Matt Eastman is a director living in downtown Toronto. He’s been everywhere from Singapore to Santiago, directing pop stars in Shanghai, coffee klatch in Kiev, and skateboarding skunks in Jakarta. Matt obsessively travels the globe looking for that perfect early 90s rap record or killer breakbeat, and is fond of visiting his parents in the hippie haven of Maynooth Ontario, where, in the summer, he obsessively hunts for new and undiscovered swimming holes.
A commercial director and photographer, Jesse has an award-winning, visually-driven portfolio that includes Nike, Gatorade, Mitsubishi, BMO and Hyundai. A proud member of Photographers Without Borders and with more than fifteen years behind the lens, he continues to create meaningful works for organizations such as Sick Kids, United Way, Until the Last Child, and Right to Play.
His photography has graced the ads of Nike, Ontario Racing, Gatorade, GoDaddy and CAA, while his spots have featured in Strategy, Applied Arts, the ADCCs, Clios, The One Show, Cannes Lions and Promo Awards
Joshua Chaiton is a creative and technical storyteller who is constantly challenging himself. A graduate of the prestigious American Film Institute, Josh has amassed numerous producing and directing credits including two Emmy Award nominations. His unique background includes work with the United Nations filming humanitarian relief operations at many of the world’s hot spots, producing visual effects for Walt Disney Pictures, and directing commercials for major brands.
As an avid flyer and FAA private pilot, Josh has flown all across the US and Canada. He can sail a boat, operate a bobcat, ride a camel and once flew a zeppelin.
Ben is a storyteller at heart. Starting his career in independent films, he has a talent for producing, and writing. He has successfully transitioned his skills to commercials as well, working with brands such as Shoppers Drug Mart, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment to name a few. He is a problem solver who loves to take on a challenge and work with great people.
Adrian is an up and coming line producer that is always eager to take on a challenge. After completing the BFA Film Production Program at York University and the POV media-training program, Adrian worked as a production manager and production coordinator for a few years in order to gain an in-depth understanding of the film industry. Adrian excels at finding creative solutions on tight budgets and making the work shine through. To date he has line produced and post-produced commercials for Sleeman, Koodo, CAA, Home Hardware, People’s Jewellers, Sick Kids and many more.
Connor joined HeydSaffer as an intern over the summer of 2018 after completing the Advertising and Marketing Communications program at Humber College. Since joining the team, he wears many hats managing everything from running social media accounts and graphic design, to administration and office maintenance- anything to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Connor possesses unique technical skills, design prowess and curiosity that make him a great fit for HeydSaffer.
Kathleen’s head-on approach to life has provided her with a wide-ranging and ever-expanding set of skills. She has worked on shorts, documentaries, television, feature films and commercials in a variety of capacities from assistant director to producer. Never one to rebuff new opportunities or challenges, she has also worked in brand development and management in the fashion industry, while simultaneously travelling the world as a flight attendant.
Kathleen’s unique background, combined with a charismatic nature, helps her thrive in diverse and often pressure-filled situations.
Since joining HeydSaffer, Otis has brought unmatched enthusiasm to the job. He brings a pawsitive attitude and is a delight to work with. He takes his security duties very seriously, nothing gets past him without a thorough inspection, Otis is an excellent multitasker.
